MMC 27th Choir Auditions Winter 2021
In an effort to continue singing during the pandemic, admission to our ensemble will be online. If you have already sung with Mountainside Master Chorale in the past, you do not need to re-audition at this time.
There are two parts to the online choral auditions. After sections 1 is submitted, you will be notified if you have made it to the next section of Zoom auditions. Please read the instructions carefully.
Send videos and recordings to Irene Messoloras at irenemessoloras@gmail.com
1a. Submit a short video of yourself singing in the style that features you best. (30 seconds- 1min).
1b. Record yourself singing the provided warm ups and submit audio files (only for warm ups #1, #2). This will allow the listener a better understanding of your range and quality of your voice.

Strive for warm resonant sound in your vocal tone:
2a. Zoom interview with our conductor. (5 min)
2b. A sight-reading portion will be offered at the same time.

- Warm Up #1: on the vowel “ NEE”- five note descending pattern.
- Warn Up #2: on the vowel “NAH”- three note ascending, hold on top, and same notes on the descent.
