Gershwin Meets Sondheim

Join us as we reminisce and sing from the pages of America’s songbook! The spring concert features two of America’s most celebrated musical theater composers: George Gershwin and Stephen Sondheim. We’ve all been humming their tuneful melodies (“I’ve Got Rhythm,” “Send in the Clowns,” “Summertime,” and “Comedy Tonight,”) for decades now. Featured on the concert will be a choral suite from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.

Classical McCartney - Ecce Cor Meum

The Chorale is proud to present the West Coast premiere performance of Ecce Cor Meum (Behold, My Heart), composed by Sir Paul McCartney. This sublime classical work, in the composer’s words, is “about truth, and love, and honesty,” and reveals a new depth in McCartney’s compositional career. This extraordinary event will feature MMC, the Cal State-San Bernardino Concert Choir, a children’s choir, soprano soloist, and full orchestra.
